Man!!! I had this post all setup this morning and I made a dumb mistake i’ve made before. Some how I saved one over the other and lost this one in the process! Yesterday I spoke to Kastner Intermediate School and we got some video of the speech. Take the time if you have it to watch what I explain to these kids about my experiences.

I’ve dreamt about this day since I was in prison. I would sit on my bunk and think about all the ways that God would use me and public speaking was something I always knew in prison I would do but one thing I dreamed doing the most was filling up a gymnasium full of students from Clovis, the town I group up in, and hitting them with the raw truth. Being from Clovis I feel like I have a good understanding of what these kids are facing. Especially the pharmaceutical drug epidemic that has plagued Clovis. Coming into this speech I knew this would be the foundations that would allow me to speak to schools all across the valley and make an impact to the kids I spoke with. In all of the speaking I’ve done i’ve never had such a amazing response. The kids that added me on facebook began to post on my wall and they were saying more than just thank you. What they were saying was so special to me that I had to share with everyone just how impacted these kids are by the message God has given me to share with them. Check out some of the quotes below.

Nice Speech I Teared Up inside VARY inspirational

Every student was invited out to the Fresno BMX track and the school was given 2,000 flyers (ABA BMX) to promote the sport of BMX and the Freewheel Project I have running on Saturdays at 2pm @Fresno’s BMX track. This will certainly go down in my book as a landmark speaking event because it was the first time I was able to speak to a whole school at one time and it happened to be in the town I grew up in. I’m looking forward to having a chance to speak at the middle school and high school that I attended, I feel like I can make this same impact there.
